Who We Are
Matana RegTech is a UK startup with roots in Angola. We are building technology that makes ethical sourcing measurable, transparent, and trustworthy by turning weak upstream signals into verified facts and evidence you can present. Focus & scope We concentrate on Tier 3–4 (artisanal sites, subcontractors, local traders) for minerals used in electronics and EVs (e.g., cobalt, lithium, nickel, copper, tin, tantalum/coltan, tungsten, gold). Our narrow wedge (one mineral, a few countries, defined risks) prioritises depth over breadth.
We exist to make ethical sourcing measurable.

Co-founder & CEO
Background in finance, management, and data analytics (MSc Management & Finance, University of Sussex; BSc Business Management (Finance), Kingston University; Data Analytics Career Accelerator, LSE). Brings international business insight and expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and data-driven solutions.
